My speed and accuracy went down the second test I took. I think it went down because I'm terrible at spelling and the second test had more difficult words then the first. I think that the web-based tutorials are useful for basic skill development. There are different programs you can use and therefore once one is mastered you can continue learning with another program.

Another benefit of online tutorials is that if one tutorial doesn't explain the subject in a way you understand, there are a multitude of others you can use. The tutorial that I found is called Keyboarding Practice. simple to use and focus's on specific skills of typing. It has drills that you complete to help you learn the keys positions on the key board.

Human Chip Implantation

Ok, the only place I see this chip leading is to more problems. Right now we have enough scandals in America with weapons and drugs, do we really need something else for people to use in an illegal way to make money? I can see this chip going two ways, pretty good or terribly horrific. Look at the plus side, we have chips in our bodies that create energy, hold all of our information, and keep track of where we are. Those three things sound pretty great, yet if you look at America today and the terrible crimes that are being committed every minute, I can only see things going horribly destructive.

You know that somewhere, someday, someone will be selling the scanners for these chips so that people can pull you into back allies, knock you out, and steal your identity. Or make devices to harvest the energy the chips create to fuel drug smuggling or weapon smuggling, or even terrorism. And if there is a way to know where someone is 24/7, think how much stalking would go on, how much easier a murderer or rapist could find their pray. I think that humans need to stay human. I wouldn’t want any computer chip in me doing anything that could put me in danger.

If you look at how much people don’t understand in the world, there are so many things that could go wrong with this chip. I seriously think that these scientists and scholars underestimate the underbelly of America, and just how far they’ll go to get money, and whatever else they want.

I went to Caesar Rodney Senior High shool where I was involved in Concert band, Marching band, Theatre, and Latin club. I am currently a full time student at the University of Delaware, and I am working with GameStop as a Game Advisor.
